Obituary for Erich Johann Kirchner

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Erich Johann Kirchner, 77, surrounded by his loving family the morning of October 18, 2018 at QHC - North Hastings in Bancroft, Ontario. Born to Franz Kirchner and Albertine Becke in Kaltseifen, Germany. Youngest brother to Franz (& Renate) Kirchner, Anni Kirchner and predeceased by his brother, Rudi Kirchner. Devoted husband to Liliane Kirchner, loving father to Karine Kirchner & Kristina (& Eric Terpstra) Kirchner, beloved opa to Zachary Kirchner -Terpstra, brother in law to Pauline (& Abdelwahed Ennaji) Bolduc, Roger (Marie-Christine Dupuis) Bolduc, predeceased by Solange (Yvan Boudreau) Bolduc, Bruno (Johanne) Bolduc and Suzanne (predeceased by Pierre Laroche) Bolduc, caring uncle to Anja Kirchner, Francis Bolduc, Julie Bolduc, Marc Bolduc, Jerome Bolduc, Mathieu Boudreau, Guillaume Laroche & Sophie Laroche. He will forever be remembered by his family & friends. He immigrated to Canada in 1967, later becoming a Canadian Citizen.
After having a nearly 30 year successful career at Magna International, he retired to his beautiful house on Jeffrey Lake. He had many passions and hobbies, from building his retirement home, to travelling to spending time in the forest cutting wood and collecting his mushrooms, to preparing gormet meals with family and friends, to spending his time on the golf course perfecting his swing. He was a man of many talents.
