The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Erich Kirchner can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Liliane and family
Our thoughts, our sincere condolences are with you all on the loss of this sweet and ever-friendly man! We were shocked to hear of his passing - such a blow for the whole Jeffrey Lake community. A favorite decades-old memory is of Erich zipping down the lake past our cottage towards town in a brisk breeze on his new sailboard... and after quite a long time, Liliane paddling by in the same direction, to later reappear homeward-bound with Erich and the sailboard in tow. You are all in our thoughts at this sad time.

Condolence: I was obviously so shocked, and deeply saddened to hear of Erich's untimely passing.
As one of four golfing 'amigos'; I was fortunate to travel with Erich each year to South Carolina, and spend 8 wonderful days listening to this brilliant, thoughtful, and very caring GENTLEMAN. Of course; he also treated Clayton, Harold, and myself to many of his famous meals (inlc. dried mushrooms that he would bring from Bancroft), and we would have to wait for his next golf shot as he stopped to take a photo of an aligator or heron!.
He spoke so lovingly of his family, and was such a great pleasure to spend time with, that I can't imagine the sense of loss for Liliane and his two daughters. I am sure though, that they have so many fantastic memories of this gem of a human being that they will cherish his memory forever.

Condolence: Please accept my deepest condolences. He was always there to lend a hand. Just helped me with my boats with his atv. Hooked me up with his generator when power went out. A great guy, friend, and neighbour for 40 years. Will be deeply missed.

Condolence: Thinking back fondly on all of the sips of peach schnapps and beer Erich snuck my way over the years growing up; one example of all the great memories I have of fun times our families shared together. My sincere condolences. I will think of him always when I play golf as he gave me a pair of his old golf shoes that I still use. Matt
