Condolences

Condolence From: Karen and Norm Alexander
Condolence: When Marie's Easter card came back to me I was hoping that it was because she had moved to a new location. I was so sorry to hear that Marie had passed away.I have known Marie since I was a child. I spent many days and even nights at the Pesheau's home in Thunder Bay since Brenda and I were best friends. Marie was loving, kind, generous and thoughtful. I would call her every so often and talk for a long time. Her sense of humour was delightful. Rest in peace Marie. I will miss you.

Condolence: Rest In Peace Aunt Marie, i'll miss you. I will always keep and cherish the sweater you knitted for me for my high school graduation present with the letter you wrote with it letting me know how proud you were of me.

Love Always,

Lisa

Condolence From: Don and Ruth Taylor
Condolence: Marie moved to Toronto from New Carlow to work for my Aunt Eleanor Taylor, and my father Gilbert Taylor in the Taylor Jewelry Store on Bloor Street. Marie met Gerald there. Marie also looked after my sister June and I on the Taylor farm in Oakville. Marie was our sitter, mentor, and when I didn't mind she was the enforcer more than once. When I decided not to go to school one day, she had a willow switch that made things clear who was in charge. My sister, June and I loved Marie and we also grew up with Marie's brothers Lyle and Ellis, and her sister Claudia. From the time I was four years old, Marie and her sister Gwen made me 'toe the line' In later years, Marie and I visited mainly on the phone. May she Rest in Peace. Love Forever, Don and Ruth Taylor

Condolence From: Geraldine (Hatfield) Mahoney
Condolence: I was touched by Marie's strength, humor, passion to tell stories of days gone by, such as wild strawberry picking, Thelma; other family, Blueberry Mountain, fishing, hunting deer, playing, times in the bush in Thunder Bay, her children growing up and on. Marie was a faithful wife to Gerald and missed him terrible when he was taken. She was at a loss when both Brenda and Boyd passed before her. It would be hard to go on. Marie's faith was her biggest guide and help. She liked the visits of her grandchildren, great grandchildren; Gail from Calagry. May you rest in Peace. Geraldine
