I was touched by Marie's strength, humor, passion to tell stories of days gone by, such as wild strawberry picking, Thelma; other family, Blueberry Mountain, fishing, hunting deer, playing, times in the bush in Thunder Bay, her children growing up and on. Marie was a faithful wife to Gerald and missed him terrible when he was taken. She was at a loss when both Brenda and Boyd passed before her. It would be hard to go on.
